Engine oil is stored in them, which is used for the connected cogeneration unit.<br>The planning company commissioned by the operator had taken into account right from the start that Koblenz was located in earthquake zone 1 and that the storage tanks for water-polluting liquids must also have the appropriate approval. Other requirements for the flat-bottom tanks were double-walled, high temperature resistance and long-term resistance to the medium.
